End of tour

Hello!

What a great tour we did with the swedish rockers Royal Republic.
Somewhere in the middle of crazyness and traveling we managed to put up
great shows. These shows were the firstones
with our new synth guru Arttu.
Everything went as planned. Can't wait for next shows to come. Gladly we're
heading to studio to start album recording.
That means a little gap to touring,

but you can see and read what's happening with us in our new studio blog that
can be found via following link:

Thank you so much for supporting us in Turku, Jyväskylä and Helsinki.
We love you all!!!

Theft City Rock 2010

Moi!
1st Iconcrash festival performance of the summer.
There was some moments I'm going to list here.

-Weather: rain
-Mine and Riku's fishing trip: never happened, though we had our fishing gear with us.
-A new way to express U-turn by Oze: Ugandas
-Riitta's world famous breakfast: Riitta sure knows how to make scrambled eggs, she puts lots of salami in it to make it extra good!

until next time...

Grand Casino

We played an acoustic mini set at Grand Casino with Matti and Riku.

1. The Lovers
2. Never Ever
3. Everlasting

The event was pretty damn interesting actually. There was another artist called Joonas who was a really nice guy from Tampere, two comedians and a guy with some kinda bike who apparently won some kinda x-factor or talent show or something. We missed his performance because we were so busy acting James Bond at the casino...
I won 0.07 euros from some machine and that was it. To be honest I didn´t even understand how it worked.
Lots of weird images were rolling after i touched random buttons... I so rule with gambling.
well anyway we enjoyed our time there a lot and we are planning to go there again in two weeks when we go out to celebrate the album release finally. Let´s see how that nite will turn out.

tämmöinen luonnehdinta löytyi ihmeellisestä internetistä:
Iconcrash esiintyi akustisesti kolmen miehen voimin. Pari kitaraa, basso ja solisti Jaani Peuhun kiihkeästi varioiva ääni hurmasivat Fennia-salongin laitapöytiin saakka kumisten. Radiokuuntelijat eivät ole voineet jäädä paitsi tästä deep-rockin sielukkuudesta, mutta livenä Everlasting tunkeutui päätösnumerossa niin syvälle, että komiikkaillan viimeisetkin naurut pysähtyivät hyväntuulisina hymyillen kuuntelemaan Iconcrashin autuaan maagista kauneutta.

SEINÄJOKI

Banzai!

What a great journey! Have you ever kept a brake in paussi-paikka? I personally recommend it, such a nice coutry style coffeehuose.
We heard couple of stories about abandoned coffeehouses we saw on the way, and boy they freaked me out!!! horrible, horrible things can happen in such a lovely places. Especially this one place nearby a place called "blacklake"....stay away from there, I tell you.

In bar 15 the staff was super nice and I wish we'll meet soon again. Greetings to you all!!
I hope we'll get back to seinäjoki really soon!

Tomorrow we'll be playing in Grand Casino Helsinki, see you there.
(I didn't take any behind the scenes pictures from seinäjoki so I uploaded a pic from eggboxfoam)

ESTONIA

So here's what happened:

Ferryness, Randomness, Putiness, Bozouness, ...and some banzai moments from Jaani.
(*if google or dictionary doesn't provide answers to what some of these words mean, come to Trashfest III and I'll tell you)

Anyway...the first gig went by the book, and everything happened for a reason. Since we got off stage pretty early we decided to celebrate. And you might think that the only way to celebrate in rocknroll is to get wasted so bad that your own mother wouldn't recognize you. Yeah!!!!....well....we had other things in mind. We headed back to our hotel to watch the olympic games!!!! how cool is that!

The next day became more interesting...
Our old tourmanager Johnny White came over to see us and apologized for his behaviour last time in Russia. It didn't go well. He was so drunk he couldn't speak. He just sounded pretty much like a pussycat. As we had to let him go after the Russian tour, this time we had to make sure that he wouldn't bother us anymore. We wish him well and good life.

We couldn't survive this trip without our mixing engineer and helping hand Benni

Banzai! -Matti#4
Oh my oh my what a trip... There is just something that makes me feel really happy when I am in Estonia. It must be their random petrol stations, even though nowadays they are getting more boring and corporate just like it happened in Finland. All the little ones disappear and all the new ones look exactly the same. Same products and same fake smiles. In Estonia you can still find those little ones, and it is guaranteed that you don´t need to suffer for the fake smiles....or basically any kinda smile.

Gigs were ok but the one in Tartu was one of the best in ages. So relaxed and random, and that relaxed feeling is partly because of the other band playing there. Recycle Bin, great band and super nice guys.

The only bad thing in Tartu was Mr. White´s appearance. No idea how he found his way to the venue in that bad condition and I certainly wished he would have never found his way there. His half eaten russian chocolates and few empty vodka bottles didn´t make our feelings for him any warm and when he decided to fill my pedal case with his vomit (for the second time!) it was pretty clear that he wasn´t going to join us on our way back to Tallinn the next day.
I will give a picture of his swollen face to security guys at Nosturi to make sure my pedals will be vomit-free and we can get ready for the gig without his drunken dirty talking on the background.

Godspeed Johnny. but please for fuck´s sake stay away from us....
